The Dante Club has several committees that work with a common goal to maintain their heritage in the community. They consist of volunteers who donate their time and expertise to support the club. The dedication and hard work of these volunteers has developed the club into a facility that all the members are proud to be a part of.
The Dante Club Bocciofila is a committee of the Dante Club. They manage the Bocciodromo Complex and promote the game of bocce within the Italo-Canadian community in the Sarnia / Lambton area.
The Maintenance Committee is made up of members who volunteers their time and expertise to maintain and renovate the premises. They have skills in various construction trades (carpentry, masonry, electrical, etc.) that can be used by the club. They are responsible to oversee the daily maintenance and upkeep of the Club's facilities and infrastructure, as well as oversee new construction and future developments.
Their dedication and hard work has developed the Club into a first class facility. New volunteers from the membership is always welcome.
The Dante Club Ladies Association is a non-profit organization that provides recreational, cultural, entertainment, fraternal and educational programs for its members and their families. They strive to keep alive the traditions and heritage of Italy and develop the interest of children in their Association so that they will carry on and take pride in the accomplishments of their ancestors. They donate funds to charitable and non-profit organizations or causes. Any female member of the Dante Club is invited to join the Ladies Association. They meet monthly, the last Monday of each month.
